I had the pleasure of doing the wedding photography for Helen and Jay earlier this year at The Venue at Kersey Mill, Suffolk. Bridal prep was at the couples home, and all make up and hair was done by the bridesmaids.
The day had a Mexican flavour, with bright colours, a pinata, birds of prey and Corona! The beautiful flowers above were a taste of what was to come.
Crochet hooks made this a quick and easy task.
Jay showing his nerves of steel weren’t affected. Too badly. 😉
Husband and wife!
This is my second favourite photograph from their big day.
All the guests had a go holding the birds of prey during the interval while I took the bride and groom off for their private photographs. Jay loved his time posing with this eagle.
Multicoloured cake! To match the cupcakes in the photo below.
And rings photographed on a sombrero. Of course.
4 Colours of dress, plus the brides fantastic white wedding dress of course.
And four colours of socks, tie and kerchief’s for the men.
My favourite shot from the day. I added a blue light to the right for an accent and the light to the left was bare to add the rim light and a little flare when I pointed the camera it’s way, as I did to capture this image.
Get up and dance!
Before I left, we had a quick play with a bubble machine and two off camera flashes. Fun day!
